Today I’m posting something a bit different – a peek into my new kikki.K planner! I’ve been using apps like Todoist and Evernote to plan my day, week and month, so using a paper planner will be a big change. For now I’ve decided to use this planner to write down my personal tasks and keep my business tasks digital.
I was lucky enough to win a voucher to purchase something in the kikki.K shop! These planners aren’t available here in South Africa so you can image that I was over the moon when I heard I had won. One of the first things that caught my eye was this watermelon planner. And my luck didn’t stop there – the planner was 40% off! Since I am so obsessed with watermelons (see this wallpaper and this party invitation), I just knew this planner was meant to be mine.
Not only does this planner have watermelons on it, it’s also in one of my favourite colours. My home office has a mint, aqua and gold colour scheme so this planner looks right at home on my desk. Unlike some of the other kikki.K planners, this planner is made of fabric instead of leather. Here is a closeup:
The interior pages are just as beautiful as the outside. I love that every week has a different design on the sides. The dividers are absolutely adorable and have the cutest illustrations and bright colours. This planner has the following dividers: monthly view, weekly view, addresses, birthdays & anniversaries, shops & restaurants, to do and expenses. The “to do” and “enjoy today” pads are included with the planner. In the back of the planner a large notes pad is also included. The pen is not included – that is a pen my mom bought for me at Typo. It matches my planner perfectly 🙂
This is the large planner that fits A5 pages. I don’t mind how large it is since I’m not planning on taking it anywhere. It’s staying right on my desk 🙂
I also purchased this dashboard kit that includes some matching stickers and cards. Aren’t they cute?
Lastly, I also got the vision board kit. I still need to purchase a vision board so I can put them up and look at the cuteness every day.
Even though I love my purchase I’d probably not buy something overseas again since the customs fee was ridiculous. It was about half the cost of my purchase. If I hadn’t won the voucher, this would have been a very expensive purchase. As much as I love stationery I just can’t justify the expense.
All in all I absolutely love my planner. Have you purchased anything from kikki.K before? Or do you have a planner by another brand? Let me know in the comments!
