If you take a look at my DIY Ideas Pinterest board you’ll see I have an obsession with succulents. I bought myself two new succulents a few months ago with the intention of painting cute patterns and effects on the pots. Instead, I got lazy and only painted the pots white and despite my best efforts, my succulents died. I’ve heard you can’t kill succulents, but apparently I can. I’m so sad about my plants, but I had an idea: I drew and “painted” them in Illustrator and made a wallpaper. Now these succulents can decorate my desktop and yours too!

So, this isn’t scientific at all, but I think it’s hard to keep succulents alive inside unless you get a lot of sunlight. Our succulents thrive outside (with little to no effort on our part) but any that we’ve brought inside have withered. Crazy! Anyway, I love your illustration. Thanks for sharing it with us. 🙂
That must be the problem with my succulents because I kept them inside and my house doesn’t get a lot of sunlight. But the succulents outside are fine. So you’re right! I have learnt my lesson and will not keep them inside again 🙂
