Hey guys! I’m starting a new series on this blog to document my month. To see what went well, what didn’t, what I’m reading, watching, listening, etc. I want to share a bit more of me on my blog because I think it’s important that you guys get to know the person behind this blog. I’m a human, really!

What I’m reading
This month I completed Lucky B*tch A Guide for Exceptional Women to Create Outrageous Success by Denise Duffield-Thomas.
This book is basically about The Law of Attraction and how Denise used it to attract her success.
I personally don’t believe that “The Universe” gives me what I ask. I believe God gives me what I need when I pray.
But this book did open my mind about certain behaviours I have and how it negatively affects me and the way I treat myself. Give it a read!
What I’m watching
Elementary season 2
Better Call Saul
I’m watching Better Call Saul for the second time now. It’s one of my favourite series ever! What are some of your favourite series? Let me know in the comments.
What I’m listening to
5 Seconds of Summer
What I’m loving
Honestly, I just love to design. It keeps me sane. When I’m not designing I don’t know what to do with myself.
What I’m working on
This month I worked hard on a new 2019 desk calendar. I didn’t create one last year and I’m glad it’s back. It look so cute I love the pretty colours!
This month was pretty quiet in terms of leaving the house, haha. I visited my family in Riversdale for 5 days.
What went well this month
My new morning routine which consists of meditation and breathing exercises, watching a devotional video, praying, and reading Scripture. It’s the only thing that makes me calm.
What did not go well this month
Oh goodness, where do I begin? This was a pretty tough month for me. We had to give away our two guinea pigs as it’s impossible to take them with us when we go on holiday. We have to take turns going on holiday. One of us always has to stay home to take care of them.
It was my fiancé’s idea to adopt them and he didn’t think it through properly. It breaks our hearts to give them away, but it’s for the best.
Also, I’m getting married on 13 September and all the red tape has been stressing me out. I HATE paperwork and planning events.
Another thing that left me shaken was when I discovered a lump in my breast a few days ago. I went to the doctor as soon as I can. I will have to go for a mammogram and ultrasound on Monday. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
What made me happy this month
Talking to my mom on the phone about the whole mammogram thing made me feel so much better. I suffer from anxiety so things like these stress me out SO MUCH. I was on the verge of tears but now that I know she’s been through it too really reassured me.
I’d love to hear from you! What have you been reading or watching? Let me know in the comments.
