How to Use a Fountain Pen

Journaling and calligraphy as well as really unique and fun statements for wall art are definitely all the rage. People are looking not only for hobbies to fill their time but for distinctive ways to upgrade their walls and tables with messages or images that mean something to them.

Luckily, there’s a tool that’s coming back into vogue that can offer some flexibility in helping with that: the fountain pen.

The fountain pen has been around, in one form or another, for over a century. They were a departure from the old quills, which had to be dipped in ink in order to write.

Fountain pens came with their own automatic ink reservoir. They fell out of fashion in the 1950s when ballpoint pens came into wide availability, but they’re finding new popularity. They’re simple and useful and kind of cool, too.
