How many items should be on a to-do list?
Have you ever found yourself staring at an overwhelming to-do list, wondering where to even begin? The answer can be a complex one because there’s no right or wrong answer to the question of how many items should be on your daily to-do list.
It’s also important to consider your productivity and time management style.
Some people thrive with longer lists, while others may find that a daily limit of one or two tasks helps them stay focused and in control.
This is also why you see everything from daily task lists to weekly to-do list templates – it lets people find the best approach for them!
What is the top-3 method?
The top-3 method is a simple yet effective way to prioritize tasks and increase productivity.
The first step is to make a list of all the tasks that need to be completed, big or small. Then, choose the top three tasks that are the most important and will have the biggest impact.
You can do this each day or use a weekly planner to choose them for the week.

Why does making lists help anxiety?
If you suffer from anxiety, making lists might seem like just another tedious task to add to your never-ending to-do’s.
But the truth is, taking a few moments to jot down everything that’s on your mind can have a tremendous impact on reducing stress and improving feelings of control.
When we are anxious, our thoughts often become cluttered and overwhelming. Writing them down physically organizes them and helps us prioritize what needs to be done first.
It also allows us to let go of some tasks or delegate them to others, freeing up mental space for more important matters.
